An incredible aquatic park, the first of the XCARET parks that we visited and this impression is so vivid that I want to continue and see at least one more for comparison. The territory of the park is huge! When you get there for the first time, it is difficult to prioritize and there is a chance to loose time and to visit not all locations or not enjoy some activity in full. My personal advice is to not stay at one location for a long time. From the starting point to move into park depth of the park. In my opinion, the most interesting begins from the crossing a wobbly bridge and starting the jungle exploration jungle. Cenotes, caves, exotic birds and animals are waiting for you there. Moving between bases along winding paths, you will reach a lazy river. This is my top in Xel-HA! Swimming along it you will reach zip-lines, slack-lines and other water-air activities. If you are an outdoor activities lover, this location will take a lot of your time and energy, but it will definitely bring great pleasure. Also I would like to note the luxurious infrastructure of the park - each of the bases has everything you need for a comfortable rest, toilets, changing rooms, showers and drinking water. And the all-inclusive buffet is a separate huge plus of rest here. Many people appreciate the variety of food and drinks in the bars in the central location so much that they prefer to be in the chill-out zone in the center of the park all day. Anyways, I am sure that every visitor will enjoy it. No matter of age and which style of rest you prefer

We purchased tickets from a tour company and did not get to the park until almost 10. And then we had to listen to their sales pitch for the end of night show. We wanted to do dinner but when we got there they told us they had no seats left. But by the time we got to the lockers (all the way at the end of the park) we found a place that was selling reservations for the dinner and was able to get dinner tickets. Basically this is an under cave river with some pretty sad looking animals zoo. They have a couple of other activities but if you are going to do them they will charge you extra. The beach area was packed and we never figured out how to get the chairs that were supposedly included in our cost. Nor did we figure out how to get towels again something included. For the price we had to pay it almost was not worth it. And you are constantly reminded to put a mask on even outside. The cave thing was ok but honestly I felt like I was on a guided tour - we were just missing the tour guide raising their clip board.

It was a adrenaline rush type of day. The whole experience was beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for a better quality guide. Go Miguel!!! He was so personable and funny, and he did EVERYTHING we did and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones. The jumps were so cool, and the ziplining into the water over and over and over made it worth the money. The waters were spectacular. The only thing I personally didn’t love was the canoeing but that was at no fault of anyone but my own because I’m plus sized and water kept coming in because I sat in back instead of front not knowing any better. Didn’t drown or sink so I call it a win.
