We stopped for dinner while driving south on I-5 shortly after Christmas. We were there on a Wednesday night, which was free pie night. (A plus.) The place was fairly empty, but it was a cold, drizzly night. Our waitress was friendly, but she seemed a bit distracted. We had to remind her that we wanted pie at the end of the meal. The food was basic burgers, etc. Everything we had was fine, but not outstanding. We all had pie, and Shari's pie is always good. The weird thing (at least to us) was that the restaurant had a small casino in the back of the restaurant. It didn't seem to be a big draw, as no one was in there. (My adult daughter checked.) Nothing really special about this place, but we were able to get food that was edible at a reasonable price.

$9.40 for a Prime Cheeseburger (no fries or a drink, just the burger) is a little steep. The burger tastes good, but they put the meat patty right on the lower bun, so the lower bun absorbed all of the juice, and before I was finished, the lower bun was a wet soggy sponge. If you're reading this review management, consider putting the lettuce on the lower bun first to keep the lower bun from turning into a soggy mess. $1.95 for a German corndog was a good deal. The restaurant is clean and the decor is nice. Would I eat here again? Probably not.
the subway near the hotel was very friendly and made me feel welcome. everything i ordered was prompt. thanks again

Although in a convenient location, right off I-5, we found the food tasteless with a 40-minute wait from ordering to serving. This restaurant was under-staffed. The hostess went on break so our waiter was nearly running to seat new folks, take/deliver orders, clearing tables and cashier. We hope to find a more quality eatery for traveling in the future.

We were looking for dinner after shopping at the outlet mall and saw the Red Robin was next door. They seated us in the bar, since we were adults, since the main part of the restaurant was full. They asked how I wanted my egg on my Royal Red Robin burger, a welcome question that I had not had before. My wife ordered the Marco Polo Chicken burger, which she had enjoyed on a previous Red Robin visit. Everything was very good and we enjoyed our visit.

We were expecting a restaurant in an established commercial area, what it is after all is a restaurant attached to and supporting a senior living community. This is not a bad thing, just something you should know if you choose to go to avoid confusion. The place is small but cozy which results in quick, efficient service. The menu offers pasta, seafood and beef meals for the most part as well as daily specials and kitchen specials. You wonât find anything challenging here but you will find well made and delicious fare. The our meals were perfect all across the table included steak and fish as well as a soup and salad except the traditional steamed vegetable medley which was generic at best. Last but by far not least was the fact that fresh, delicious pies are available which are worth a visit alone which pushes this place from very good to excellent.
