Locally-owned drive-thru service offering all natural smoothies, meal replacement shakes, fresh-brewed tea with a variety of flavor choices, and bubble/boba teas, all customizable to your liking. Located on the eastside of Double S Steakhouse in Willcox,
I happened upon this hidden gem during a work trip. The healthy smoothie was a refreshing change to the normal fast-food joints find in this town. The over size straw was the welcomed "straw" that broke the camel's back! That concreted my choice to come back everything I'm in the area. Nothing ruins a great smoothie like a little straw that restricts your ability to drink it. Did I mention how helpful the staff was, as well as how delicious the smoothie was!

We rarely eat at fast food places, but it would have been better than breakfast at the Plaza Restaurant.Husband had one egg, sausage, and one pancake. Syrup was cold, and they serve fake butter. His milk arrived at the end of his meal. I had 2 eggs, bacon, grits, and toast. Grits and toast arrived cold. Bathrooms need cleaning.

Wings, gumbo, fish, ribs, shrimp, bbq ribs, rice, green beans myriad of stuff! Reasonable prices all listed on the menu outside. Pretty much a little shack with a stove and a fryer...inside a tad scary...kitchen is super random and dark! Besides sitting out front on the side walk (table & chairs) behind the building is a little "beer garden" out back...but he doesn't serve beer anymore?

We had dinner one night at Rix's - a bar for locals that also serves food that you cook yourself on a grill. Limited menu to things like steak, burgers, chicken, etc. - things you'd grill, plus a salad bar and cowboy beans. Burgers are big, 1/3 lb. and they were on special the night we were there. Different types of rolls/bread is available plus you get your condiments from the salad bar. Free jukebox music, mostly C&W was being played. Several beers on tap plus all the usual mixed drinks and wine. Good place for an inexpensive meal - just don't overcook your burgers like I did!

Restaurant associated with TA Travel Center.
This is a truck stop but don't let that stop you from enjoying a great meal. Everyone is super friendly and it is a laid back, comfortable atmosphere. We ordered the buffet for breakfast and it was just delicious. All your favorites are served up fresh and you can order eggs and toast from your waitress-served at your table. We have eaten both lunch and dinner here prior. The buffet never disappoints and you certainly will get your money's worth of delicious, fresh comfort food.

Cute decor for small place. Nice patio. OK service. The salad bar, while very limited in variety and quantity, was fresh and tasty. Friday night, so the wife had the Prime Rib. It was rare, as requested, and a nice taste. Baked potato was hot. Other side of the coin: my chicken fried steak was a disappointment. They used a lot of gravy to hide the sins. Too much bread in the batter and not crisply fried. Steak portion was chewy. Mashed potatoes were with skins. Not to my liking. The fried okra was a disaster. I felt that it was over priced for what we received.

Found Big Tex on TA with decent reviews. I was not disappointed! The restaurant is large with an old railroad dining car attached. Very nice touch. Food came out very quickly. Everything was great, ribs were flavorful, cole slaw and Mac n Cheese were good too. Definitely recommend.
