We have been looking forward to the opening of the Ga Bobs in hawkinsville for months. We invited trends to go and my goodness what a disappointment! We were the only ones there at 4pm. Everything: Ribs, Brisket, baked beans, and brunswick stew was COLD. worst bbq we have had in years. Don't waste your time or money.Service was good and place was clean.Disappointed in hawkinsville.Hi there, we apologize for the less than stellar experience. We were on our way to Hickory, N.C. to escape Hurricane Irma in Florida and these folks welcomed us with open arms. So very friendly. Our grilled chicken salads were perfect however the buffet and salad bar really looked inviting. The restaurant is large with lots of seating indoor and out.

My wife & I stopped by while returning home on a drive thru rural Georgia. This is a typical small town Hardee's, with average staff, average food & it was overall pretty good.

Stopped here on our way to Saint Simons only after the "intended restaurant" was closed. We will be back! This was honestly the best food and service we had on our short trip. The waitress was "spot on" with her attitude and service. I was torn between two possibilities, and she answered my questions. She gave her recommendation. I don't know why wait staff won't do that (if I didn't want to know, I wouldn't ask), but she did, and I was so glad that she did. I highly recommend the meat-filled omelet. I have never had such a truly "filled" omelet, and our coffee cups were always full. Stop and give this one a try. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Arrived just before noon on Sunday to find a crowd building in this restaurant . Apparently, we were just after the early diners and before the church crowd. I filled my plate with green beans, turkey and dressing, fried chicken, mac and cheese, fried okra and thin cornbread. Wow, just wow! Everything was wonderful, perfectly seasoned and prepared. Topped all that off with hot peach cobbler and soft serve ice cream with chocolate sauce. Price was very reasonable. Server was friendly and kept our drinks filled. Wonderful lunch and now back home for a nap!!

My family went here for lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy, but we didn't have to wait long. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful.The food was very good. There was a specials menu with a lot of interesting choices. I ordered the grilled pear and smoked gouda cheese sandwich, and it was yummy! One of my sons enjoyed the pizza. Sorry, I can't remember what everyone else ordered.They have a huge display case of desserts (cookies, cakes, bars) and every single thing looked great. We each got a free yummy lemon cookie (because it was our first visit), and then I ordered the gingersnaps. They were also excellent!We will definitely go back!
