We just got back from this place and it really is a hidden gem in GenSan. I had the burger and it was big and tasty. My son had the Filet Mignon and it was tender and well cooked. Husband and daughter had the Porter House steaks and they too were tasty and juicy. The staff was friendly and attentive as were the guards. The seating is limited but this added to the intimacy of the place. Spent just over P1000 for a family of 4!! Not a bad price for the ambiance of the place.A good place for families or couples or business meetings or anytime!!Only complaint was that there were no desserts!! There was coffee and it too was really tasty. Brewed and not in sachets. I would highly recommend this place. Riding by I saw the banner with Manny Pacquiao and some huge burgers. They have 3 sizes. I chose the Pound for Pound and it was enough for 3 people. We followed up the burger with some lechon kawali and a few glasses of cold water. They've got a nice looking coffee bar but I don't drink coffee so I didn't check any of that out. Aircon inside was nice and the place was cool to beat the summer GenSan heat. One of the TVs was playing a Pacman promo video which I've seen a few times, but always enjoy watching. The burger was one of my favorites. The type of meat they use holds together well and isn't too juicy. I don't care for cucumbers as it came, but I ate them and it was a good flavor. The cafe is connected to the Manny Pacquiao Roadhaus hotel so all in all it's probably a good place to visit and not too expensive.

The fluffy pancakes in this attractive, small restaurant are great, and very likely are the best in town. To make pancakes that are so good you have to especially know how to cook them as they do, and the recipes they use are good to start with.. My wife prefers their "classic" pancakes, which are unadorned pancakes with good syrup, while I much like their stack of blueberry pancakes, which have a substantial amount of blueberry in the middle. They use the same menu all day, after they open 9:30 in the morning, so you can always order their pancakes. Their pancakes cost 150-200 pesos. The food they have is generally good (with some exceptions)--however, some dishes stand out especially. Their bangus, for one, is high quality (which like most of their lunch-dinners cost about 250 pesos). Their jumbo house burger is the best hamburger I have eaten in town. Topped with mushrooms, bacon, etc, and coming with French fries, it is a substantial meal in itself. (It casts 284 pesos). For those who would like to have a salad for a whole meal, its chef salad (with ham slices) it quite good, and I have thought its "warm bacon potato salad" even better. Its brewed coffee, usually, is excellent, and it comes with a pitcher of cream you could put on your pancakes, if they are ordered. They also have several dishes that are cousin to pancakes. Its French toast (cooked in egg) is okay, and I found the waffle I ordered one time excellent--but, still, their pancakes are best. I was amused the last time my wife and myself were there two days ago to see 4 women all having their meal from a single one of this restaurant's triple-decker club sandwiches, which comes cut into sections convenient for such sharing. (I haven't tried one of their sandwiches yet though) This restaurant is right by SM mall's main entrance on the first floor, right across from Pizza Hut, which is, by the way, another restaurant with outstanding food in this mall. This review is for the Pizza Hut in Gensan's SM Mall only--my wife and I haven't been in the Pizza Hut location in the Varanza mall so far.

This quaint, intimate and cozy spot offers you some of the world's unique gastronomical experiences right in the province. Dias are highlighted with their very own cuisine-of-the-day. Dishes are made from the freshest ingredients (they make their own pasta!) and produce which come from local suppliers (how's that for helping the sustainability of local farmers, eh?). Fligo by Chef Minerva is not your average restaurant in General Santos City. One of its uniqueness is that the menu changes depending on what the chef would like to explore; making diners at Fligo take a culinary journey with Chef Minerva at the helm.Be sure to have a taste of the different select variants of Kalinga beer (made in the mountain province of Kalinga, Apayao in the Philippines) and/or (because you can have all or just the one) Estrella Damm Inedit Beer created by elBullin Chef Ferran Adrià . Fligo is the only one that carries these in the city.If you love food or would just want to have that first-bite-makes-you-go-mmmmm-close-your-eyes-experience, best make a reservation and park your hungry self at Fligo.
