What a wonderful, refreshing surprise in surprising Kalabahi!! The Cafe is a fun-tastic fusion of good music, enak makanan with sopi-innovative cocktails, local ikat and handicrafts showroom, and also event planning, tours & travel agency! And all blended by ultra-helpful, pintar & smiling Melissa & Mika, who share their precious time between the coffee shop and social initiatives to help local communities find their new way into the 21st century. This place is the perfect hole in the wall. Awesome burgers, Indonesian food and desserts with respectable prices. Everything is made with love. Very communal atmosphere with the family members of the owners in and out consistently. It's definitely worth a trip if you find yourself in Kupang.

Eating out in Kupang can be unpredictable. What was excellent and available last week, may well be either garbage or just not on the menu this week. This happens All. The. Time. It is SO frustrating.Resto Waroenk however, is largely consistent. Yep, sometimes certain things aren't available still (that's Kupang), but I find it's much less of a proportion of the menu than most other places. And what they do serve is consistent, wholesome, good food. I have eaten in this place (either the one here or the one in Transmart) a dozen times, and probably only once walked away dis-satisfied. That's a good strike rate.Service is good too, and the prices are frankly amazing. It is cheap to eat here, considering it is a modern restaurant with decent food from a whole variety of cultures. Highly recommend this place.

We came here for dinner, watched the sun setting, ordered a few dishes from the menu. Ikan bakar permata, kangkung hot plate, beef hot plate, soup jagung asparagus. Love every dish especially the ikan bakar permata. They have their yummy special sauce, not the common general grilled fish out there. They have chinese tea! Which is a plus. I donât find it anywhere else in Waingapu.

Went here because of tripsdvisor. I dont get this rating.- staff could absolutely not be bothered with you, had to get everything myself. Just sitting around playing with their phones trying to avoid eye contact.- food shocking. Dont get the club sandwich. I didnt expect much, but that was disgusting: Bread wasnt even toasted, meat unidentifiable. As a side, I got 5 or 6 fries.+ the place itself is clean and comfy.Bottom line: Donât go, its absolutely not worth it

Unique building architecture with recycle wood. I impressive for that.I ordered local food Gado-Gado, more than 1.30 hours no served it even empty guest. I sit at restaurant 1.45 hours and no one aware that I didn't take any meals yet. They served (seems) the owner lunch and skip my que order. Because I am the only one local guest ? Not sure...but I feel not friendly and humble for local. I just offered by hotel staff for sea activity. I hope that is only to me, not for other local guest.

Amazing beef patty burger with variety of toppings. Parmesan chilli fries are also a good side. Friendly staff and good quality service. Highly recommended.
