Stopped by with friends for a late night gathering. Most had pie and ice cream. Another had soup and salad. Perfect selection. Their pies are always good and don't know what type of ice cream they have, but it's luscious. Have a malt to take you back to your childhood. Scrumptious!!! They have changed they plates and the soup and salad came in their own square bowls on one large plate. Nice presentation! Soup was the tomato basil, perfectly warmed. Everyone else loved their pie ala mode of course!!!

Good menu, lots of variety. Good roast beef. Love the wraps and sandwiches. All time favorite Jamoca Shake, thick and DELICIOUS. Curly fries or potato cakes, difficult choice so switch off every other time you go for a meal. One drive through place that gets your order right every time!

People's Cafe

To tell the truth, the primary reason we stopped here to eat was for the fact that my aunt had worked here for many years in the past (she recently passed away). I have never dined here before and wanted to see where she had worked. My brother and I stopped in and had a late breakfast. I (of course) had to try the Corned Beef Hash breakfast. It was good, though the CBH did come from a can it was gently cooked/fried in a round shape like a very thick pancake. It came with two eggs, toast and hash browns. Servings here are LARGE, so be prepared. No there is nothing fancy about this place, it has a well worn look from years of loyal customers. Small town cafes are usually better than your average chain restaurant.

Bradford Roadhouse Bar and Grill

Just tried Bradford Roadhouse Bar and Grill for the first time this afternoon. The waitress acknowledged us immediately and was at our table within a minute of our being seated. I had the Plain Jane burger (with cheese) and crinkle cut fries while my husband had the Patty Melt with coleslaw. Both our burgers were ordered medium rare and came out nice and pink. They, as well as the fries and coleslaw, were delicious. Great food and great service; we'll definitely be back! The only quibbles are the ubiquitous TVs and the fact it appears to be a biker hangout.

Stopped on a Friday night with a friend for the all you can eat fish and the meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf dinner was made from 3 previously frozen circular meat patties that were pre-made and grilled to warm them up. They were more filler than meat. Tasteless and unappealing. The all you can eat cod dinner was overpriced and poorly cooked. The fish fillets were hot but not throughly cooked, being doughy between the fish and the breading.. The coleslaw tasted good, but was a tiny serving being about two spoons. The dinner came with soup, but when I ordered French onion soup they charged me $2.00 more for my soup without mentioning a cup of soup with burned cheese on top was an extra charge. Kudos to our server for kindly not mentioning the additional $2.00 upcharge added to an already over priced dinner. Both dinners came with a dinner roll, but evidently the servers are told to ask if you want the dinner rolls so they don't serve them if you don't want them.

Nice place but I was hoping to go somewhere where I could get a nice big salad following all the fried shrimp “Tom” ate the night before and though “we cannot expect such at a Bar and Grill” ------- Surprise, I had one of the biggest best salads I have had in a long time.
