Went to this Subway for dinner as we were visiting the area and were staying in a hotel. I ordered my sandwich and then another for a family member. I asked for a Subway Melt on wheat. She began making the sandwich and put ham, turkey, and roast beef on it. I recalled this sandwich having bacon on it and not roast beef, so I asked. The girl told me no so I asked her to add it. I later looked it up online and she did in fact have the sandwich wrong and I was charged extra for the bacon. With my sandwich, my wheat bread was pretty stale and the bag of chips I got had a small tear in the top seal so they were stale as well. I don't know that next time we visit I'll be going back to this Subway.

Every town needs a good old fashioned burger joint like this! Food is always really good .. especially the burgers. Gotta try the "Munchies" if you go. Like a cheese-jalapeno tater tot. Really tasty! It is an eat-in-your-car place, but there is a picnic table under an awning. Darn good old timey burgers!!

If you are going to eat fast food in Texas stop here!!! The sweet tea is the best in the south! The hockey is piping hot and fried to perfection! And it's not greasy! They offer a good selection of sides I would personally select fired pickles and mini poppers. The staff is extremely kind and a prime example of southern hospitality. The town is run down and reminds me of radiator springs from the movie cars, but has a lot of potential!

Service was efficient and friendly. Restaurant, tables and restrooms looked clean. Food was delicious and rolls were ''heavenly". Staff passed out free cupcakes and were just so willing to be helpful. I accidentally ordered the wrong item and staff was quick to fix it.

After reading some of the reviews on here I was looking forward to a great meal. Total let down. The food must have been microwaved because our chicken fried steak was at the table in less than 10 minutes. The mashed potatoes were out of a box and the okra was over cooked. The upside was our waitress. She worked hard and kept my tea glass full.

Real food. Good food. Fresh, hot and plenty. Bacon, sausages, eggs, milk, pastries, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, fruit ... and more. Not powdered eggs or microwaved bacon either. Friendly staff. Felt like home as we ate with all the locals. Loved it! Next door to Park’s Inn — a great place to stay.

Passing thru Bowie have always wanted to try out the SWEET BOY Diner....we did on Monday 8 October...Nice country dinner on the old town sidewalk...Brings back memories of Grandma's cooking and deserts...Lunch specials we're attractive. BJ had chicken fried steak gravy Southwest corn fries and the best darn yeast rolls ever!I had the hamburger steak with green beans and the same corn...roll. those rolls don't require the addition of butter or anything they are like a desert in their own. .The young lady tending us was so nice, polite and very courteous. .prompt and efficient. We'll eat here again....
