This hotel made us feel like we were Hollywood celebrities! Tall ceilings, chandeliers, balcony overlooking the Olympic-sized swimming pool, and manicured grounds, with a backdrop of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast was wonderful and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. It was also too fun to walk under the road through the tunnel (right to the side of the hotel) and emerge on a beautiful beach. Well-suited for families, the hotel can accommodate everyone - it's huge! Even the inside stairways are glamorous!

Typical mountain hotel, spa, free wi-fi, tv.
The family run hotel is really cosy. They were all very nice and accomodating. I was extremely impressed with their cooking. Sooooo delicious, soooo homemade ... I was always looking forward for the every evening surprise of food I was presented. Rooms are clean. Walls are really thin and you can here everything from the next room. Infact I use to speak with my friend which was in next room without raising my voice as if she was in same room. In this case it was convenient. :)

We booked and paid for a seaview and were given a single storey villa on the side of the resort next to a police station. When we complained we were offered a single storey villa which appeared to be facing the beach but had a 7 foot wall directly in front - again no seaview. Positives - friendly staff. Negatives - the hotel and rooms have not been updated in many decades. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. No hot water to shower. Airconditioning only in one room but not second room/main living area. No free wi-fi. No free made to order cappuccinos at breakfast - unforgivable and unprecedented for us in Italy. The free coffee was terrible, the range at breakfast was awful and we had to ask for multiple food items to be replenished and in many cases they ran out of choices even though there was still 30 mins before breakfast officially finished.

In the heart of the Aspromonte National Park, located in the center of Gambarie 1450 mt.a few meters from the ski slopes, the Hotel Miramonti. The hotel's new structure, offers all the amenities: Typical restaurant, bar, health club, Billiards Room, Conference Room, Disco, screening room, Game Room, Internet WI-FI Playstation Corner Playground, indoor pool. Due to the very quiet room, away from traffic noise, surrounded by trees and vegetation, and environment of the family for four generations that care every detail, you will spend an unforgettable vacation.
Hotel Miramonti - Hated it The hotel describes itself as a hotel and spa. It has a sauna, a cheesy hot tub and some electronic massage chairs. There are no people working in the spa except some old guy out by the bar that points you behind the curtain. Miramonte charges a relatively high rate because dinner and breakfast are included along with the cheesy fake spa. The food is inedible. Terrible! What we were given to eat was a so-so antipasti (starter), followed by one under-cooked pasta and one watery overcooked pasta. I've never had pasta that bad - wasn't expecting it in Italy. The Second plate or main course was just a bunch of cheap cuts of meat all overcooked and hard as shoe leather (sheep, cheap pork, and some mystery meat) served with some over-cooked and under-cooked boiled potatoes mixed together. No vegetable or salad came with the meal other than some chopped tomatoes on the bruschetta on the antipasti. Better would have been to do one pasta and one meat and cook it properly than to serve so many things and not do a single one well. And include a salad - please. Breakfast was a sad affair of cornetti (croissant) out of the box, dried toast out of a package, and with some prepackaged spreads. Even the juice was out of the box. We were charged extra for fresh squeezed orange juice and espresso. Each of the 19 people in our group were charged 60 plus Euros extra per person of unexpected fees for things like getting a soda or a (single) beer instead of the undrinkable swill wine that was served with dinner. Or for espresso after dinner.as none of these were included with the meal. I won't go on much about the place itself other than it was full of dark hallways and the microscopic showers and bathroom windows were covered with mold and mildew. Don't go!

We booked this hotel for 4 nights, for a wedding we were going to in the area. We arrived there at 2am, and were given rooms that do not have windows to the outside, but opened unto an internal corridor, the same for the bathrooms. There is AC, but you couldn't get rid of the stuffiness and foul odor of the room To get to the hotel you have to pass an unpaved road inside a stream bed. Part of the hotel was closed because it was confiscated. Stay away!
