Went to this, a bit remote restaurant after being intrigued by their massive Wine list. We were really well taken care of and got to taste som really tasty wines that really excelled our food experience as well. Will definitely come back and recommend anyone visiting Gothenburg to take the tram to Gamlestadstorget if they want their wine to be something extra. (They will start producing their own wine at the restaurant this autum)

As an Italian living abroad, I'm always on the hunt of restaurants where I can eat some genuine Italian food and feel like at home. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here: the staff is very friendly and the food delicious. Absolutely recommended if you visit Gothenburg!

Fortunately I often travel through this lovely city and at last after dining at many of Gothenburg's "best" restaurants, I now have a place go. Whether just for a drink or to eat fine top quality food,Barsac wine bar stands head and shoulders above the rest. The proprietor is extremely knowledgeable and charming, the extensive wine list can be paired with the most delicious food, beautifully prepared. If you are looking for a special place, you've just found it!

Juan Font is good concept. Winebar, big windows, cold plates tapas style only. Add oysters and a posh crowd drinking expensive slightly overpriced wine (we payed SEK 145 for a small glass of mid range Rioja) looking at each other.Thatâs it. The concept workshop somehow, so the place is over-crowded, waiting times long, service friendly, wine selection limited. Good ambience.We will not return here anytime soon. We arrived 15 minutes ahead of our reservation and was offered a table to the left of the entrance. The menu came after some waiting but was hardly readable based on bad printing. The winelist was on an IPad, but was really disappointing for a restaurant previously known for good wines. We vere served warm water after long waiting, and the neighbor table was so noisy that we could not hear each other. We asked for a new table but got a flat no. They had options...The food was a great disappointment and we had to return one of three dishes. The waiting for service was so bad that we just gave up - no passion from the employees. Based on previous visits and extremely good reviews - this was the actually the worst restaurant we visited in Gothenborg. Huge number of better restaurants now in this very nice gourmet city...Hej Ståle,We are very sad to hear that you hade such terrible visit. We always strive our best for to give our guest a nice visit.We were fully booked this Saturday and there for we didn't have any tables for you to change to. For the wine list please inform us what you find lacking, we have nearly 400 different wines on our list. But was it any certain area you found lacking?As for the food we offered to change it for a new one or that you both could change for one of our other dishes. But you declined.Att the end of the evening we even gave a discount on the bill.We will of course think of how we can improve for the future.Kind RegardsDaniel Gremlin

We really loves this tiny, beutifully and a little bit noicy (i love that) restaurant. The staff always had a smile at their face and the service was Perfect. The menu was small but interresting and the Wineparing was Also fine. The food was wellprepaired with a lot of love. My only thing not Perfect was the main, we had the rooster. And it was perfectly cooked, but How it was seved maybe a little boring. But we really recommended this restaurant.
