We enjoyed a lovely meal. The service and food was excellent. We were looked after so well by Manuela, who took great care to explain the menu and provided us with tip top service. We enjoyed some great meals during our stay in Catania but this place was the best. Not cheap but we thought it was good value, given the quality of the food !

We had lunch here twice on a recent visit to Catania. They offer a selection of sandwiches, antipasi and boards of meat and cheese. The two different bottles of wine they recommended were excellent. The service was very friendly. Recommended!

Recently visited here as a late lunch and enjoyed 5 dishes between two people with wine. The wine list is exceptional and the owner has extensive knowledge (and passion!) for wine all over the world. Not only was the food beautifully presented, delicious and fresh - we enjoyed spending time chatting about their collection. Bread was served warm and fresh to accompany the meal. This was a highlight for us during our stay in Catania city! Relaxed outdoor seating with a view of the city down to the ocean. Extended opening times which suits non-European tourists.

Just reading the menu is enjoyable; and then be brave when deciding on one of the craft cocktails with an amazing list of ingrdinece. Or simply talk to the bartenders and explain your preferences and those experts will indeed fixe you YOUR cocktail (pre or post dinner) which can be enjoyed in many ways: The taste, the scent, the looks supported by the ambient bar (music and atmosphere). All in all: a PERFECT 5-star experience!Watch them do the âWorkâ and realize how many tine steps are required to create a âhandmade / craftâ drink. And then think about all those hastily made cocktails you had before. What I mean to say is: If you wan to enjoy a prefect cocktail âcollageâ is THE place to be⦠a quick cocktail might be found somewhere else too, but it wonât be the sameWell, we didnât try the appetizers from the menu (sorry⦠but we planned to go for dinner afterwards a we all were afraid that we would have to cancel the reservation at the restaurant The bar has a cosy lighting (better bring e-reader rather than a paper book) and about eight seats at small tables and another eight at the bar. Cosy and small, but for sure the maximum number of guest, to ensure that each drink is made with care, love, and sufficient time. We were amazed on our first visit and came back (Sunday evening) to check on the quality and service again. Perfect! Welcomed with a smile, friendly and quick service and (most important) again perfect cocktails. (tried 8 different ones in two visits. And most likely, I will be back⦠in a few days ;-)Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a long and beautiful message on our cocktail bar. We had the pasta and dessert, both excellent. The place is a bit formal, but very nice, good service and excellent wine selection. Food was some of the best we tried in catania.

This is not the type of place you expect to find in Sicily, and certainly constitutes an excellent break from the typical Sicilian food (excellent as well, but totally different). The owner has courageously proposed a niche offering fully based on quality and taste. The selection of wines (French, of course) is wide, and the owner welcomes the opportunity to run you through the different choices in order to select the most suitable one, also considering the price aspect; we wanted a glass each, and he recommended to get a bottle and take away what we did not consume, excellent idea which let us keep enjoying that very smooth and elegant Tempete de Saveurs he helped us choose. The food was very good, we shared a cheese selection (which he described in detail) and each had a main course (Coq au vin and "petto di pollastra" filled with Foie Gras) and a dessert; I also enjoyed the bread and (excellent) butter. For the two of us we spent ⬠90, not cheap but this is not the small local trattoria around the corner. The place is small and welcoming, an intimate atmosphere (he offered to have a candlelight dinner, but I like to see what I am eating) very different from the average urban environment of the street outside; the service was attentive and cordial, and I appreciated the passion the owner shows in describing his original (and courageous, I would say) business proposition in Catania - he sounded knowledgeable about the foods and wines from France that he offers, a useful guidance to appreciate the specific items in the menu.
