Tourist service provider of accommodation, bar & restaurant. Tours on or off the island are arranged on the premises. About 1 and 1/2 hour by vehicle from the International Airport. We operate in 2 locations: 1) On the beach of Lalomanu; and 2) on the cliffs of Lalomanu overlooking the beach and the Pacific Ocean along with Islands off the beach of Lalomanu.
I had the exact same experience as written in the review below: I booked to stay at Taufua in May 2020. Because of the travel restrictions and border closures due to Covid-19, I had to cancel my reservation. I did so in March, well within the required cancellation timeframe mentioned on their website. I was promised via email to be given a refund, I was also told it could take some time since they were waiting for government assistance. It took a couple of months and I reached out again to ask if they had an update yet. I spoke on the phone to Mepa, the daughter of the owner and she assured me I would get the refund, just not sure when yet. Over the following months I'd been sending multiple emails, but never received a reply. I commented on some of their Facebook posts hoping they would reply to that, but the only reply was to delete those comments (which they did to many comments in which people were asking about their promised refunds). I called again last November and spoke to Sili, the owner. Again I was told I would get a refund. He only had to go on his computer and find my booking details. He did email me back that he found the paper trail of my booking and after that..... complete radio silence again!! I have sent a couple of emails since, but I'm being ignored and haven't received any reply nor any money at all. Very dishonest, unprofessional and very bad customer service!! FYI: All other hotels I had booked for that same trip refunded my money straight away, no questions asked.

Orator Hotel is made up with 27 Villa, 15 Double standard Villas, 6 Standard Villas, 5 Poolside Villas, and 1 Deluxe Suite. 3 tier Swimming pool for all types of people, 2 restaurants, and a bar. The atmosphere of the gardens all through the Hotel is an oasis. 10mins away from town you will find true beauty when you arrive, as the staff sing and are always happy to serve.
I was trying to give this place a chance as it is close by to my house. However, the last few attempts at dinner have been disappointing. The garden is nice but that is really the only positive. Probably a good place to have an after work beer. Food is below average but acceptable if you are after generic pub food. However, on both visits at least part of the meal was cold. Staff are friendly but horribly incompetent. On one occasion they messed up the bill and it took half an hour to leave. Both visits saw the order messed up. I asked for vinegar for my chips and recieved a small bowl of dishwashing detergent. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I had already put this on my chips! It took at least an hour to get the horrible taste out of my mouth! They gave me a couple of free beers, but my learning curve is likely not shallow enough to return in the near future...

Beautiful Resort, great facilities unfortunately service was a great let down. Checked in after 2pm, rooms weren't ready, waited up to an hour. Once we were able to get in, One of the bed sheets had dry blood stain, they got on to it straight away when we told them which was good, Bar staff were probably the rudest. I understand it's probably one if the busiest areas, but as customers if we are happy to wait to be served only to be served rudely once it's our turn then what a waste of my patience & money to receive 1star service. In particular in Samoa, I always make an effort to leave a good tip, but staff here gave me no reason to do so. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. The waitress and waiters during dinner & breakfast service were probably the best to give us a great experience & for that I thank them. I hope overall their customer care in every department improves so it matches the Beauty of this Hotel. Great great shame.

This was our second time staying in this place and had a great time with my wife and two sons. Memorable walk around the Island which did not seem like 1 and 1/2 hours with the numerous greetings and chats with the local kids. Thanks Margaret for the friendly welcome and will come back again soon!!!!

Thank you to Madeleine and Vani for a great stay. Villas were perfect and nothing beats the view and the breeze that comes through the house. We had everything we needed in our villas and the pool and garden was simply beautiful. Laundry was only $10 a load. Definitely would come back again.

Vai Villas is a eco tourism spot in the heart of Lotofaga Village, your self-contained villa is overlooking a natural spring and marine life and only 600 m out to the Safata bay by Kayak. Villas have comfortable queen beds, with the coastal breeze. Or sleep on the open deck with your mossie net listening to the waves and viewing the night sky.
Our family of 6 + baby stayed at Vai Villas for two relaxing nights. Lua provides excellent hospitality and the food he cooked us was delicious. The staff were very helpful, occupying our baby during mealtimes. We enjoyed sitting by the lagoon and kayaking to look for turtles. Thanks Lua!
