Vous êtes accueilli avec le sourire du patron qu'il gardera tout le temps du repas. Très agréable. Les plats sont plutôt bons et copieux. Le seul bémol serait la décoration, elle semble datées. Cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir.

By chance my wife and I found ourselves in Montauban, on a Monday, on foot, looking for somewhere for lunch. Not easy â most restaurants were shut and the fast-food places did not arouse interest. Then we found Palais dâAsie and what a fortunate find! The restaurant is small and simple but we received a warm welcome and had a most enjoyable lunch. The menu is short but the chef is very good.To start we had a Salade Vietnamien and Nem au Porc, both really good. The nem were very tasty, crisp, golden and hot and were served with lettuce leaves to form a wrap and a very good dip. The salade had a generous amount of chicken with bean sprouts, shredded carrots, lettuce and a really good Vietnamese dressing. Next we both had Seiche [squid] with a piquant sauce and Cantonese rice. We were asked how piquant we would like the sauce to be. When the dishes arrived the cooking of the squid was perfect, the sauce delicious and the rice was an excellent accompaniment. We each had a glass of a local rose wine which went well with the food. The wine servings were generous. We completed our lunch with beignets de banana which were good and not too sweet. All this for â¬38! This little restaurant is most thoroughly recommended.

As you come over the Aveyron into Albias, the restaurant is on the left. It's a double fronted effort with car parking on both sides of the busy road. It looks slightly drab but this is only from the outside ! Once inside you've entered a wonderful melange of Thailand and China. We were greeted by a very nice waitress and shown into the main dining room which was magnificently decorated with delightful seating and table settings. There are several set menus starting at 16euro for three courses. We decided to have the 16euro as it seemed quite exotic and it was lunch after all... First course was an extremely tasty prawn soup. It was full of content and flavour and plenty of it. For mains we had Chicken Piquant and Chicken with Pineapple served with a mixture of delicate vegetables, sauce and a large bowl of plain rice. This was full of authentic flavours and a real treat to savour.. Dessert was ice cream. ( Lychees were available within this menu choice). Our bill including coffee and a small carafe of red wine came to 40euros. The wonderful surroundings, cleanliness and of course, the food were tremendously enjoyable. We strongly recommend this restaurant.

Venus pour dîner en amoureux c'est une bonne surprise que de tomber sur ce petit restaurant asiatique. En effet les plats y sont corrects et le service absolument charmant. Je pourrai y retourner que pour ce dernier. Je recommande chaleureusement.
