We found Arezzo to be quite under-rated, which made the entire day we spent their quite nice since we didn't experience the same crowds as some other more popular tourists cities. Finding the Chiantineria was another example of why more tourists should spend a day in Arezzo. We stopped in on a hot day in June for a simple lunch. It was very good, and we admired the food we saw being served around us as well. We would have liked to have come back for dinner. In any case, it was an excellent choice for a relaxing lunch and we would recommend.

My colleagues and I (12 people) enjoyed a delicious lunch at Il Cantuccio. The starting antipasti (various salumi, prosciutto, cheeses and bruschette) were classic Tuscan foods. The tagliatelle with wild boar sauce was the best course of the day! Take it from me, I've eaten a lot of chinghiale over the years and this was really good. We then had Fiorentina steaks which were prepared perfectly! Service was excellent: friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that the tiramisu for dessert was pretty banal.

Very friendly, excellent quality ingredients and well cooked. Very popular with locals and take away is available. Watch out as big portions.

Restaurant located in the city center, in a building of 500 completely renovated, the lobby is a piano and an open painting a vision of the local mirror in the room so call a painting of a thousand colors, raising his head a wrought iron chandelier crosse
First time in Arezzo, without any plans found this place by accident. Very good service, and food. We don't speak Italian so we were lost when handed the menu. Asked the waiter if he spoke English which he didn't but he brought menu in English. Risotto very good as was chicken and potatoes.

Different locals recommended Agania as the best restaurant for homely Italian-Tuscan to us.And the lunch meal was absolutely fantastic. It has a fabulous ethnic Italian ambience and the host is friendly.Wild boar dishes are simply yummy. Ribollita, a true Tuscan soup is very nice. Roast Rabbit with garlic is another delicacy. Wine selection is very very wide. Excellent choices. We really liked the homely atmosphere, yummy local food and surprisingly affordable prices!! What else does one need while in Tuscany? I recommend Agania very very strongly

Very good for all kind of dishes. Can recommend the pizzas especially, but also the grilled meats were very good. Great, friendly service. Reasonable priced for quality and class. Relaxing terrace with some views of the mountainside. Went there twice in one week.
