From Colorado Springs and we've been looking for a CLEAN lake with no success until now.
Love the swim beach here. Plenty of sand area, and it even has a swim lane for those individuals who want to practice laps. The park is very very clean. Lake has a nice smooth bottom and clear water. No icky slimy green stuff float around. Our dog was able to come with us. Dogs are allowed on the grass only .
Loved the first come first serve wind barrier picnic area w bench however if you aren't lucky, you can bring your own tent , tables and chairs and set up on the clean grass. Park rangers angers always monitoring the area also which was nice.
I came here with two kids under 12. Will be back hopefully. Questions? Email me at [email protected]

The Museum of Friends is the first Counter Culture Museum in the United States. It is comprised of art given to each of the co-founders as gifts from fellow-artists. The first floor is accessible on Main Street and 6th and features changing exhibitions, a museum gift shop full of locally made goods "Made in Walsenburg" and workshop areas. The 2nd floor contains over 600 works of art created by contemporary artists with a few exceptions. Also on the 2nd floor is the Hawaiian Collection, Artist in Residency quarters, offices, and a resource library. The featured show on the ground level is "El Dia de los Muertos" a group exhibition that honors our ancestors. It will remain on view until December 30th. Currently, the museum is opened from noon until 4 pm, or "winter hours." . School groups are welcome as are group tours.
I'm not normally an artsy person, but what a cool little place with a fantastic story. It's a small art museum with big plans. I'm interested to see where they go. A very diverse selection of art from local talent and beyond. It's worth your time.

I gave this a 3 rating as I felt it would be hard to find for those who don't live in the area. Needs more signs showing where it is as on I-25 a single sign says Ludlow Massacre and that is about it traveling on the interstate. Otherwise, I would have given a 4 rating. Very somber atmosphere, especially when viewing the cellar. Did an excellent job of repairing the monument after vandals maimed the statues.

Amazing views!! The course was well taken care of, especially being so off the beaten path. There was just a modular building for the club house, but the people were very nice, and the course was in good condition, despite the drought they've had.

This is a great small town water park with two awesome slides, a current pool, a diving pool, and a walk-in pool with water toys. $7 for adults and $6 for kids or a season pass for $60 gets 20 admissions. I'm from Denver where the amazing Water World is located. While Wild Waters isn't Water World -- it is 1/5 the price and a totally awesome stop on the way to the Sand Dunes or Durango / Four Corners / Grand Canyon!
We drive from Pueblo a couple times a year to visit this water park. Now if you are expecting a large park with lots of attractions then go to Denver. This place has 2 water slides, a small lazy river, a diving pool and a nice shallow play area for small kids. It's nice to play in the water with my family and not have to fight the crowds. It cost us $6 each to get in and if you take a cooler of food they charge an additional$7. We were there about 5 hours and had a very nice time.

This was a good place to stop on our road trip. The lady who was working there was very friendly and offered plenty of information. There was a lot of information on the Ludlow Massacre and the history of the entire area. The museum is located inside the old county jail, so that was neat to see as well. The cost was very reasonable, $2 each for adults, and there was a lot to read and look at. Overall, it was worth the stop to view some of the area history and get out to stretch our legs.
