ln what has become a growing trend across Australia, Silo Art is allowing regional and country towns to highlight what their community is all about. Tumby Bay is a beachside country town and the 2018 painted silo art features two teenage boys enjoying themselves jumping from the nearby jetty. Just off Lincoln Highway, the art work is visible from the town side and not the highway. Access is clearly marked with a reasonable sized car park to take all sizes and types of vehicles. A viewing area is suggested and if you follow the stone path you will see why. The Tumby Bay silos have a different design as being a group of three double silos with a gap between each pair. From the front the design appears to be dis-jointed. Follow the path and the art work visually becomes one unit due to a brilliant design by Argentinian artist Martin Ron. Along the path are some concrete tables and seating and at the entrance a visitors book which shows visitors from both Australia and worldwide. Return? Probably would not make a specific trip to see the art work again, but if in the area may call in
