Loved our trip to Lubovna Castle, I was surprised how big it was and how well preserved. Castle is surrounded by little village made from cute folk wooden houses, wooden church and farm animals. I would go back!Thank you very much! We look forward to meeting again :)

Slovakia has rich folklore tradition, perserved old traditional villages and a lots of museums and skanzens where you could discovered the world of past centuries. Skanzen in Stara Lubovna is one of the best ones, where you could see a plenty of different log cottages, houses, school and even a churcg completelly made of woods from local area. First time I visited this skanzen in year 2008, and had to get visit again in year 2017. Together with castle and mediaeval camp makes a great place where you could spend a whole day or, at least, an afternoon.

A very interesting place to visit, admire, observe and buy goods they produce. I and my husband strongly reccomand you to go to Nestville Park as it's unforgetable in a way.

This ski resort is about 1 hour from Presov and one can count on here even if other resorts don't have snow.
Unfortunately with unexpected warm weather snow disappeared else where but this resort produced artificial snow over night so we wee lucky to ski bit.
It is rather small so half day would be enough for fun. Lift pass and rental ski are reasonable prices so all one needs is proper attire for ski.
There is no light so the resort will close around 4pm.
