Namsa Yedamchon Village

Reviewed By H1732015 - Seoul, South Korea

this little village has survived with traditional houses and walls - until now, as modern conveniences are coming in, responding to the growing number of tourists. So authenticity is declining while the number of restaurants, coffee shops and photo spots grows... Decent bus connections to little town Wonju (an the express way exit) and Jinju

Silsangsa Temple

Reviewed By veggiejeonju - Jeonju, South Korea

I visited the temple at the same time I visited Namwon. If you set off early in the day Silsangsa and Namwon can be easily visited in a day trip from Jeonju or other cities. Although the temple is rather small, it has a lot of national treasures and there is good hiking from the temple. There are several minbaks in the village if you want to stay the night.

Daewonsa Temple

Reviewed By H1732015 - Seoul, South Korea

located in the foothills of Chirisan, the temple sits in a nice valley, at an access route to the peaks of Chirisan. If you don't want to do the ascent, the valley is cool in summer, with a recreational area and some restaurants further up, and beautiful with the colourful leaves in autumn.
