A lovely animal park to spend a morning walking around.
Don't expect too much it's not a zoo or a fauna park, just a nicely presented winery with same animals in large enclosures.
The interaction with kangaroos, sheep, rabbits and Guinea pigs is great for the kids.

We dropped in on our way to Ceduna and the views were fantastic. The weather was overcast and a bit misty but it just added dramatic effect. On a clear day it would be awesome.

Koppio Smithy Museum

A collection from many source of "yesteryear" in a yesteryear setting. The memorabilia that is on displayed has it all. Vintage cars, horse pulled carts, pioneer women's household goods, tractors, barb wire display, items from the devastating 2005 bushfire, the original blacksmith shop and cottage, old buildings, tools and collections of many kinds. Well worth the drive-out(45km) from Port Lincoln with a very reasonable entry fee.

Whalers Way

What a perfect way to experience Whalers Way. The sea spray was awesome and the sea was wild. A key is collected from the Tourist Information Centre in Port Lincoln, a fee of $40 per vehicle is paid and a mud map with information is provided. It is advisable to travel in a 4WD vehicle but a 2WD can manage with care. The coastline is rugged and there are many geological features to be seen from various viewpoints. There were kangaroos and emus and even an osprey's nest as well a a sinkhole. I have experienced a lot of coastal scenery in Australia but this was awesome in the true sense of the word.

Axel Stenross Maritime Museum

Reviewed By jim t - Victoria, Canada

This is the result of Alex and his partner in the shipyard business. Contributions from a number of people added to the displays of ship models, and full sized boats with related fittings. Along with the history of shipbuilding and tools used in the blacksmith and repair business, there was a display of the various engines used in small boats. Outside were a small number of boats and one to demonstrate the slipway to bring boats inside. Then there is the living spaces in the yard, which were somewhat sparse. Overall it took about an hour. Souvenirs included shirts and ball caps. Normally closed Wednesdays, it opens for groups of 10 or on occasion that cruise ships are in harbor. If the sails are hoisted on the boat outside, its open.
