This is in fact the second half of the Omkaleshwar situated on other side of main temple of Omkareshwar on bank of Narbada river. There is a belief that darshan of both temples makes a complete Darshan of Jyotirlinga. So,customary DEVOTEES TAKES BOTH DARSHANS AND OBVIOUSLY THE MAIN DARSHAN OF oMKALESHWAR.tHIS FACT IS NOT KNOWN TO EVERYBODY AND MANY DEVOTEES SKIP OUT THIS TEMPLE .The temple is smaller and not crowded like Omkareshwar.,but is beutiful. This is near to parking of vehicles, hence after finishing ,one should take this darshan and then depart from your parking place. One can walk down a little or go by your vehicle

Omkareshwar Parikrama also known as Narmada River Parikrama is both spiritual and adventurous boat journey starting near Omkareshwar Shiva Temple and we come back to the same point after about one hour of boat ride (about 10 Km total distance). The path of this Parikrama is in the shape of OM and hence the name. Another notable feature of this boat ride: we reach Sangamam point of Narmada River and Kaveri River. The fast flowing Narmada River in opposite direction makes the boat ride bumpy at times. We completed the Parikrama by boat first and then only we visited the Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar Shiva Temples and completed our Omkareshwar Jyotirlingam Darshan.

Nothing much here except that in this place the water is very clean and very appropriate to take a holy dip in the narmada. The steps are a little slippery, so one has to take a little care before entering the water. The Fort adds beauty to the place.

This absolute structure is standing on the Mandhata Hill from very ancient time supported by a huge plinth whose four sides are carved with about 5 ft high.
This is known as Siddhnath Barahdwari (Siddheshwar). The structure is preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India and maintained by MP tourism.
It is One of the most inspiring temple from architectural point of view and you will be amazed and cut your tongue be the teeth after viewing the structure.
I do not know much about the history of this monument but seeing this made my journey successful because I am a History and architecture loving person.
The structure is not complete because it's been deteriorated by the time and the stones and pillars are scattered here and there.
Some part of the structure is kept in Nagpur Museum. The Shrine is in center and can be accessed by all four sides with Porches. The carvings on pillars and on the walls are splendid and marvelous.
Must visit place in the city.

Visitors have to climb 270 steps that rise up from the ghats, to reach this beautiful temple.Gauri Somnath Temple is constructed in the shape of a star which itself is marvelous in architecture. A gigantic Shivlinga adorns sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which is almost six feet height. Shivalinga is made up of smooth black stone that makes the idol dazzlingly superb. Another interesting attraction is the idol of Nandi bull, which situates outside the sanctum facing its master. This too is made up of the same black stone like the main deity.
