Visit to this Lagoon was a part of the organized bus-tour from our hotel at Cayo Coco. We embarked smaller motorboats and traveled around and across the lagoon in about an hour. Journey went through mangrove-forests, small waterchannels, wonderful tropical nature and vegetation as orquids and different sorts of palms growing in natural environment. It was a nice activity in the hot midday, and afterwards is possible to rest at the small cafe on the spot or maybe go fishing if you have time.

In a country where there really aren’t a lot of original crafts these are exceptionally creative. It was really wonderful to see what had been done with cutlery. These would make unique gifts for taking home.
