Prime Outlets

We stop here because they have a Timberland outlet, which makes my husband's favorite style of shoes. They have lots of stores, mostly high end with slightly reduced prices. The nice thing is that they are all located in one spot. You can find just about anything that you need.

The Grove City Premium Outlets have tons of stores with ample parking. It is a lot of walking so be prepared as everything is outside and it's a very long center with many stores in between. It was crowded, but we had no trouble finding parking and there was plenty to do and plenty to eat. There's a food court as well as stand alone restaurants. The prices are definitely better than in a regular mall and there were a lot of sales. You can get a coupon book at the customer service center in the food court. There's also play areas for the kids, although they were closed during this time of year due to mud and such.

This is a gorgeous courthouse to see! It is especially attractive at night, all lit up. You can see it from a distance as you come into town.

Skydive Pennsylvania

Reviewed By MaritaGodfrey

Because I had always wanted to go skydiving, my husband bought me a gift certificate from Skydive Pennsylvania for my birthday. This was an experience I'll never forget. Cecil and his staff are amazing. They are friendly and put you at ease the minute you walk in the door. Cassie Truden went over all of the paperwork with us, showed us a short video, and got us all signed in and ready to go. There is a lot of paperwork and you literally sign your life away. Fear not, everyone is extremely cautious and conscientious. Johnny Caldwell and Ron Sarazen did a great job of calming my nerves as they suited me up. I had the most excellent instructor, Don Schwab, who checked and rechecked my gear and his numerous times before we left the plane. My photographer, Sherri Ellison, did a superb job of getting plenty of still photos, capturing the essence of this experience. My DVD will be delivered is a week or two, so I can't speak to that yet.

I went into this feeling very excited, a little nervous, but not at all scared. Ron assured me it was normal and expected to feel nervous. We were originally supposed to go on the Saturday before Labor Day, but S/P cancelled due to rain and high winds. We rescheduled for Labor Day 2017 and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. There were several experienced divers on our flight who went first. Then there were 3 of us doing our first tandem dive. Of those 3, I went first. It is pretty, pretty scary leaving the plane. Fortunately, it happens very fast and you don't have time to think about it. The freefall is intense and I questioned my sanity. But once the chute goes up, it's a ride in the park, kind of like parasailing. Don pointed out landmarks below, told me to wave to Sherri, but not to forget to enjoy the scenery. My whole family was on the ground to greet me when we made our picture-perfect slide landing.

None of this cost me a penny because it was all a gift. My family had bought me the video/photo package. HOWEVER, after the flight, when you're at your most exhilarated, they hit you with an option. Cory Smith took additional ground photos, which he showed us in a slide-show form. That is an additional $35.00, but you get $5.00 off a T shirt. Because there were 2 in our party, they discounted the slide show to $30.00 + $5.00 off a T shirt. Normally I don't go for those types of deals, but in my excitement I purchased the slide show as well.

Spring Valley Golf Club and Lodge

Reviewed By Bill F - Innisfil, Canada

This was my second visit and not much had changed. Accommodations are basic. Our package included breakfast and dinner which were excellent. I have played many golf courses and Spring Valley has become a favorite. The front and back nine are very different. Many of the holes are really challenging and require precise shot making to reach the pin on difficult greens. I would rate the course excellent and food above average but the basic accommodation bring the overall rating to average.
