Named for the wife of a general in the American Revolutionary Army, this park is great place to picnic among the trees.
Snowshoeing up to Mount Olga was really fun. It had just snowed and it was absolutely beautiful. It was not super easy as we had to cut our trail but it was really a lovely day . We did not see another soul until we were leaving the park and some people were coming in to winter camp for a night or two. Great exercise!

The producers of the Metcalfe's family of Liqueurs and Catamount Vodka as well as other limited edition spirits & liqueurs. Naturally Gluten Free Vodka and Liqueurs handcrafted in Southern Vermont's Deerfield Valley. The distillery tasting room is now open and includes an outdoor seating area, cocktails, bottles to go, and much more!
The place is lovely. The liquor is excellent. Definitely a hidden gem. Be carful, once you try the maple cream, you’ll definitely want more. Sadly my local liquor stores cannot get any due to limited production. They have tried. I will buy a case my next trip up north.

Museum devoted to Southern Vermont's wildlife.
This little museum is just awesome. They have an extensive collection of taxidermy birds and animals on exhibit and some pretty amazing live critters- owls, bald eagles, turtles, snakes, tarantula, hissing cockroaches. It was our first outing with our 5 and 8 year olds since Covid began in March and was a perfect choice. Mike and Chris were incredible. They brought out one of the owls for a lesson while we were there, just us! We also got to meet the hissing cockroaches (hissing and all) and the tarantula, “Lavender Brown.” They care so much about their animals and have personal stories about each. Quick note - the admission is super cheap - $14 for our family of 4. There are donation boxes n the main floor by the exit and downstairs by the live birds. I’m sure they could use the extra few bucks to help with the overhead of running things if you can spare it.

Stopped for beer and pizza on a Thursday night. Ordered two pizzas (the Cowboy and the Skydiver) and they were both spectacular. Also ordered the Bourbon Stout and the Shagbark Hickory Brown Ale. The beer was excellent, the people that run the brewery are very nice and it is a fantastic stop. Also has a spectacular view if you are there in the daylight.
Marlboro College's library which features special works of author Rudyard Kipling.
