Golf Kenosee

We had golfed here over 20 years ago and had forgotten how beautiful it was in the fall. We stopped at the restaurant the night before and it was packed for their beef pot roast meal. It was really good and the service was great. The next day we golfed and the course was in really good shape. The holes are short but it is challenging and fun. Barb at the pro shop as friendly and answered all our questions.

Moose Mountain Provincial Park

We stopped here for two nights on a trip to the west coast. We are a family of four in a 27' travel trailer. We were in site 101, which was private and shaded with ample room for our trailer and truck. We were pleased to be in a full service site with sewer, water and electrical! What a treat! We used the beach, hiking trails, the convenience store, the golf course and visited the visitors centre while we camped. We were also in a close proximity to friends in SK, who arranged to visit us for the day. We enjoyed their company at the beach and hosted a bbq at our site as well. The Kenosee Superslides were not open after a management switch while we were there, which was disappointing for sure. We also didn't have time to take advantage of the mini golf or go kart track. There was also some kind of market on the side of the road, as we were arriving on our first day. We would have loved to explore the area more. We saw deer (adult and a very new fawn) steps from our campsite. This is a beautiful park and lake that we feel we need to return to in order to enjoy it to the fullest.

We went to the superslides today and had an amazing time! The place was clean, social distancing guidelines were being observed, the staff was fun, friendly and really cared about what kind of experience we had and went out of their way to make it great. Our family made some good memories today and we can’t wait to return next year!
