Kakinada beach is one of the best Beaches I have been to in recent times. It's mostly deserted and totally devoid of the usual touristy hawkers and balloon sellers. Visited mostly by the locals of the area, the beach is exceptionally (by Indian standards) clean as well.
From the number of fishermen I saw at the beach the nearby villages or any restaurant in Kakinada town should be able to rustle up a quick but delicious fried fish too.
A definite thumbs up to this place.

Adurru Village is situated in Razole Taluk and is famous for its excavated monuments. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) undertook excavations in 1953 and found the ruins of Buddhist Stupas, Viharas and Chaityas. The prime attraction of the site is the Mahastupa, which is 17 ft in diameter and has been constructed like a wheel on a raised platform.
The excavation led to the unveiling of numerous other ancient artefacts like dishes, jars, troughs and bowls of kaolin and red pottery. The inhabitants of the village called the Adurru mound as 'Dubaraju Gudi'.
