We visited the place today. It cost 40 yuan per person to enter. There are many historical places and it is very peaceful. There is beautiful quiet music playing in the background in most of the place. It is a calm place and good for reflection but not something if you want excitement. Outside of the park is a small amusement area that is free with many activities for younger children. You can also rent paddle boats for a leisurely time on the water. You are able to buy some original artwork there for reasonable prices. It is not difficult to climb around the area - there are steps for all of the buildings. The area outside the park is also very interesting if you are from the west - a completely different experience.

I visited the during Spring Festival there was lots of lanterns for the celebration. It is a nice place to go as a family or a nice place for a romantic walk with your lover. Inside the park there and some shops to buy snacks and also some restaurants the park is free to enter so certainly worth a visit.

I visited this 1 week ago. The climb up the mountain is quite a bit of work but is also very beautiful. The flowers only grow on the top of the mountain - about 1000 meters high. There were many people visiting. There are places to purchase food at the top of the mountain. Cost of entering was 60 yuan. You can take a cable car to the top for 55 yuan going up and 45 to go down. Very beautiful trip and the cost is reasonable by western standards.

Lotus mountain is the English name for this place. It is an interesting place to visit that is close to Huanggang - just across the river. At the entrance, the is a 9 dragon statue. Inside there is a 13 story tower that you can climb as well as various shrines and temples. It does have a sad little zoo consisting of a monkey house and two peacocks. The cost is very reasonable - normally 25 yuan to enter. The day I visited, there was a special for only 19 yuan. There are numerous things to see here and if you are in the area, it is worth spending a few hours wandering about.
