This place is awesome. It is the neatest Putt Putt course I have played. It was built in 1951. We hit this place every summer while on vacation at the lake. This course puts all others around Houghton to shame.

We have been to many State Parks in Michigan, but this one may be the nicest one. The boat launch looks brand new and very nice. We will definitely bring our pontoon up next time! The park staff is very friendly and professional. Especially the park supervisor.

We are an old bar/restaurant under new ownership! Serving burgers, steaks, ribs and sandwiches in or remodeled dining room with large windows to view the lake. We also have a full bar with draft and bottled beer, along with many liquors. Join your friends on our "pontoon deck" and enjoy beautiful views of Houghton Lake.
If you're looking for a place to grab some grub and have a view of the lake, this place will deliver. It's a bar food menu for the most part. Nachos were great, they don't skimp on the toppings, every chip was covered. Ranch dressing is good for those of you that are ranch fanatics. The sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter were really good as well. Would definitely go back.

I love the layout, it makes you use every club in your bag. The course maintenance is lacking, I have never seen so many rocks in the sand traps. The staff wasn't very friendly.

Heights Marina is the leading provider of pontoon boat rentals on Houghton Lake, Michigan. Heights Marina has a fleet of over 25 boats consisting of 6 person and 12 person pontoon boats.
Heights Marina has friendly helpful staff. Nice boat. We spent a day on the boat cruising around the lake, swimming and picnicking on the water. The kids (ages 7-23) had a great time jumping off the boat. The smaller ones especially like it when we found a shallow spot where they could touch the bottom. Remember your sunscreen and plenty of water. Also remember to look back at the marina and surroundings so you know where to return. Our trip was June 2016 and TripAdvisor didn't let me select a date that far back. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Had a great time playing Redwood Golf Course. This course was formerly called Burning Oak. Name changed in 2014 after a fire. There are 3 sets of tees, 6,418, 6,142 and 5,216-yards. The course was in good condition and fun course to play. The greens are all slated and challenging. Staff was nice.
