Riding the C&O we blew a tire and inter tube. This place took us in and fixed us up immediately - plus did a few extra checks on the bike. Good selection of bikes, gear, apparel, munchies, and beverages - everything you need to have a successful journey. Very helpful and personable.

Passing by Rt. 70 towards Cumberland/Frostburg Univ/Deep Creek Lake, or towards Breezewood/Pittsburg, etc...then make sure you stop by Blue Goose Fruit Market & Bakery. I stop there every time I pass by (which is often enough)...because you CANNOT leave without their famous apple cider donuts or most spectacular 'Fruits of the Forest' pie (or Very Berry pie). It is on the way to that section of the C & O Canal, or not far from Ft. Frederick State park, or Berkeley Springs, WV (or Hagerstown Prime Outlets). Easy enough to park out front, and a very wide wheel chair accessible bathroom. When you enter the building...sweet wafts of fruit pies fills your nostrils...making you want to fill your belly. DO IT! A great place for local/regional gifts too, and such a wide variety of crafts and foods. It is a good rest stop going either direction...and the major plus is that you get yourself some tasty treats for the trip, because they won't last until you get home or to your destination...yeah, that good.

Needed an eclectic mix of old tools and old parts and surprisingly found a bunch here. The one guy was an aviation mechanic I believe, so he has some stuff. They are cool people and there is a good court in the building, as well
