Went here with Family, glad to see this pub is taking covid 19 seriously. From start to finish the staff that served us (Jodi and Sharon) were very welcoming, friendly and proffesional. The food and drink is really good for the price they charge, nice not to get ripped off for a change, if you want a nice cosy little pub this is the place to come.

Geoff and Carol were very welcoming on our visit to The Queens Head. The BFG was lovely and the freshly carved ham cobs are the best in Wordsley. We look forward to our Sunday lunch later this week.

Lived in the area for over 20 yrs and trundle up and down the road - visited the Queens, New Inns, Bird in The Hand etc . but not the Old Cat. Never used to avoid the Old Cat but for years it had been neglected. but not now. Popped in last week on the way home from Merry Hill for a quick half having heard it had been refurbed and wished I'd left the car at home. Friendly welcome from the management , decent beers real ales and ciders, and nicely refurbed. All together it makes you want to stay and make a night of it - and now we will. It is great to see that the Old Cat is back. If you have also been avoiding it over the years then please don't - support the wonderful staff and get in there.
