One of our favorite courses in the area. We played this course on the way down to Florence on a golf package even though we were playing it again in three days. I all we played 54 holes here this trip. We were treated like friends and everyone was pleasant. We had a great time and will definitely return.

Fabulous place to RV camp! We are frequent visitors here for dog training and dog events. It is very well cared for and just a beautiful place to visit for the day or a week! Very dog friendly and very horse friendly. The park rangers and personal are always helpful and on hand for any issues! It is a clean and well kept park. They have a dump station if you don't manage to get a site with all the amenities. Love coming here in the spring and fall, just a beautiful place and the long leaf pines make it even more beautiful!
The Southern African American Heritage Center is dedicated to collecting, documenting and preserving the contributions of African Americans in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. We have a permanent display on Cheraw's most famous native son, John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie, a pioneer of "Bebop" jazz music. The Heritage Center offers walking tours, step on bus tours and have a gift shop on site.
