It is BEAUTIFUL. The route towards the castle, the castle itself, the streets inside, the view towards the dam, the gifts and souvenirs in the shops, the friendly people who work and live in the castle and surrounds... Loved it.

I am not a fan of zoos but this one is different. The animals are all rescued. You can see visible signs of the abuse they have escaped thanks to this organisation. I have been there twice now, and the animals all look very happy, very relaxed and very well loved and looked after. It relies on our donations. It would be a shame to see it close down. All animals, like humans, deserve to be saved and given a home.
