Central city square with a Austro-Hungarian architecture from the end of the 19th century.
Our family of 5 traveled to Brcko in June 2016.There isn't a whole lot to do in this place so this is easily a highlight! Enjoy a cappuccino at one of the many coffee shops, eat a potato on a stick, or corn in a bowl. This area is vibrant and clean, and suitable for families.

Dont´be fooled by the small size of this "fontana". Have a second look at the sculpture and you will realize that probably there is no other one in the world. Two children (the youth) playing with a "impressioned" fish. Nice kept and looks like the city takes care of it.

Foundacija Legat Ekmečić is placed in an old Austro-Hungarian building next to the Bosnian border to Croatia. It is a gallery of two academic painters Sead and Mevludin Ekmečić (brothers). Along with paintings visitors can visit our small library, and collection of family's personal belongings and smaller collections of other artists.
A great museum that features Art from a local artist family from Brčko. It gives a great sneak-peak into the history of the city and it's rich artistic background. Anf the best thing: the entrance is free.

It's the only catholic church in the city, placed near the city center. It was sacred in 1933. There was older church from 1890. at this place, but it was later replaced with the bigger one. There is also rectory in the church complex. Church architecture is simple, but still very nice.

Oldest mosque in the city placed at the mouth of rivers Brka and Sava. First mosque at this place was built in 1600. It was restored many times. It was fully destroyed in the last civil war and rebuilt again in 2007. It's listed as a monument of national interest.
