Last week, we visited the Wind Point Lighthouse, and we were pleasantly surprised! The grounds are so well-kept and clean. We saw beautiful flowers with a great view of Lake Michigan. There is a small beach where you can sit and relax. We saw a boat go by! The lighthouse is so tall and stately. It has been helping navigators since 1880, and is still serving today! This is a great site!

Nestled on the sandy shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, the Racine Zoo is home to some of the world's most remarkable and endangered wildlife. Enjoy our many interactive exhibits and animal encounters including Walkabout Creek, Barnyard Safari, Norco Aviary, and our Giraffe Encounter where you get to feed our two Masai giraffes. It's easy to immerse yourself in our wild place. Open every day of the year.
This lovely little zoo is a great place for family fun and is quite reasonably priced. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, the site has some great views . Penguins, lions, bears, zebras, kangaroos, monkeys, antelope and giraffes are well cared for and displayed. There is a walk in aviary and a petting zoo! Plus two nice play areas and plenty on seating. You can take a train ride and even feed the giraffes? A special brunch with the animals is a real treat. I was very impressed with their Covid safety precautions. This is one of the few places you can take small children during the crisis, even if all visitors must wear masks
