Hit the antique shops, specialty stores, and outlet malls to search for bargains or a gift for that special someone at home. In the summer, you will be near many nature trails where you can walk, bike, or go on horseback through the mountains. Tee off at a championship golf course. Rent a canoe and float on the lake and enjoy the wooded scenery and the rushing waterfalls. If you’re traveling with kids, you will love taking them to the New Split Rock Water Park.

A quiet hike or dirt road drive to this gem. Looks like a lake filled with rocks. Make sure you see this early in the morning before the crowds and the heat. A natural wonder... read the signs!

Beautiful spot. Be careful as the trailhead gets compacted with ice in the winter months, and can become a bit treacherous to get to the bottom. As with most popular hiking spots, try to get there as early as possible to beat the crowds.

Our family of 14 stopped by for some bowling and was amazed at what a great kid family place that it was. We made a reservation and got right in and had a great bowling experience. We didn’t realize what a great place this was for families and would consider it in the future. There was so much for kids and “Big Kids” alike for entertainment. Khareokee, video games, bowling, a movie theater is what we observed. Highly recommend the bowling.
