James, our guide, provided a thoroughly enjoyable and educative tour on well trained and well maintained horses, which accommodated different levels of experience to provide for a fun experience on the scenic Curracloe Beach. We will definitely return to Shrule Equestrian and I have already recommended him to to some of my friends.

Recently, Joe, Sammy and I went for a pleasant walk in Courtown Woods. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. There were a few people about and we acknowledged them on our walk. We find it very relaxing and peaceful. The trees are lovely. I would recommend this place for all that visit as there’s a lot to see as there’s a hotel, a shop and the seafront nearby. There’s even crazy golf and a golf course nearby as well.

It was built in the late 1600s by John Warren who owned more than 6,000 acres of land in the area. Note: Archery is by reservation Monday-Friday
We visited Wells House this weekend just gone - in the middle of the dreadful pandemic. Firstly they have all the safety procedures down to a tee from queueing to social distancing and more hand sanitisers then you can shake a stick at! The grounds itself - excellent. 2 lovely wooded walks with loads to distract the kids en route. None of our 2 complained once on the walk and that's saying something! Great playground, nice coffee stop - loads of animals and archery going on as well as a craft courtyard. Very reasonable at 10 euro per car (not per person - so we paid 2 euro 50 each to get in). It's a great family day out - give it a try.

We had a great day with the family. My granddaughter had a great time looking at all the animals. It is a very good place for young children to see and enjoy small animals up close. There is also a large play area for them to enjoy with lots of different activities to keep them occupied. There is a large outdoor dining area to cater for families.

Wexford blessed with beaches. This is a gem. Parking can be difficult in the summer but once you get sorted and head for a jaunt all you worries disappear. Just a lovely place to go for a stroll - 2 separate beaches and so plenty to explore.
