Greve de Lecq

Reviewed By CoventryCrusader

This place contains all the best you can find on Jersey: small harbour with a lovely coastal village, wonderful beach (one of the best on the island), fabulous views and some historical buildings (no castle here but you can find a fort nearby). If you add a pub and coffee shop where you can have a good lunch (however it is not cheap experience) everything is like the quintessence of Jersey! Even if we visited the place in rather poor weather (cludy sky and drizzling rain) we enjoyed every moment spent there.

Judith Queree's Garden

Reviewed By Kath_Hirani

I visited Judith's garden with my sisters and mum yesterday and it was fabulous. I don't know how anyone could be disparaging about it. The house and garden is located in a picturesque and secluded spot, and the story of how it came about and evolved is endearing. Judith is very welcoming and friendly, her knowledge and is amazing, and she and her husband Nigel are very much a team. The chocolate box house has been lovingly preserved and is an integral part of the garden, sitting amidst a blanket of familiar and also unusual plants and flowers. The garden flows from a meadow to a little more structured garden around the house and out to a wet unruly area, all of which has it's own story. I loved the art work dotted around and the little surprises around each corner. There are chickens and geese, and everything is cultivated with the birds and the bees in mind. I will definitely go back myself again, and will take our visitors there.

Jersey Pearl

Jersey Pearl started with an idea – holidays are special, rare time with those we love that should be treasured accordingly. For more than thirty years our Jersey, family-run business has travelled the world to find the very best pearls. We buy straight from pearl farmers, bringing the pearls home for you to celebrate precious moments. Looking out over the beautiful St. Ouen’s bay, Jersey Pearl and the much loved Jersey Pearl Café have grown into our World of Wonderful where we love to get stuck into island life and tell all and sundry about the wonderful world of pearls.

Had a lovely experience here. The showroom is pleasant and open, the staff friendly and accommodating. Pick a pearl is a lovely experience and there are some great pieces, for yourself and as gifts.
