This is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and an absolute must see! We absolutely loved it! It is literally right next to the parking lot and there is a historic mill on site as well as some museum artifacts such as the milling stones on display. There is a lookout for pictures or you can hike down to the bottom (not permitted in winter). We loved visiting in Feb. as it was stunning to see the ice and snow that accompanied the falls. The ice crystals looked magical like they were from a hidden cave or movie. We are definitely coming back to view the falls in the spring or summer and hike to the bottom! Recommend strong footwear for this site and there is a fee to be donated to the conservation authority for parking.

Harrison Park is an urban dream, with more than 40 hectares of streams, trails, gardens, playgrounds, forest and green space in the heart of Owen Sound. Often called our "jewel in the crown," the park features dining and recreation facilities, a full-service campground, boat rentals, a bird sanctuary, mini-putt, basketball courts, a pool, and an open-air rink.
A beautiful large park . An entrance to a beautiful short trail to Weavers Falls at the south end of the park behind the swimming pool .

Nice trail, pretty easy walk. Some of it is on the Bruce Trail if you have a goal to walk all of that (we do). The falls are beautiful. You can hike to the base of the falls from either pathway leaving the bridge but these are foot paths not marked trails. Mostly cedars so you may want bug spray depending on the season. I think we were about 2 hours taking lots of photos along the way.
