What a fabulous venue this is, a real old world feel, comfy leather seats, fantastic customer service, good choice of snacks and unfathomably inexpensive tickets. This is the place to come and watch your movies.

Great to find a traditional family business. We took a tour round the brewery with an excellent guide - accompanied by the resident cat - and tasted the delicious beer. The garden is a joy. Small, beautifully planted areas lead one into another making a series of oases. This place has charm. And the staff are friendly too!

A National Trust Property - house, grounds containing a Stables restaurant etc.
This is a hidden gem in the centre of Wisbeach. The cafe is in a lovely courtyard together with the bookshop and is a very peaceful setting. The gardens are very well laid out with beautiful flower beds and orders, and the croquet lawn is a gem in the midst of the town. On the day of our visit a pianist was playing in the library , it was a wonderful experience. The house is very welcoming and has a wonderful atmosphere, well worth a visit.

Not currently open for many hours it seems, but we'll worth a visit. Very friendly, volunteer staff in a quaint and apparently ancient green painted shed. Sit inside or outside under cover in the quiet garden. There's lovely home made cakes and a choice of freshly brewed coffee (with free top-ups! when it's quiet), tea and various cold drinks, all very reasonably priced. A little gem in the the centre of town. Check online for opening hours. There's not a lot of parking right outside but there are big, free car parks nearby.

Took the kids for an evening of bowling and what fun we had. There were strict COVID-19 measures in place, hand cleaning stations, table service to stop people moving around too much and one way systems. We had a great time as a family, it was really good to have a bit of “normality” in these strange times.
