My cooking classes are inspired by my love of Provence, my homeland, the land of olive trees, vineyards, sunshine and beautiful landscapes. Therefore, come and discover the rich Provencal, culinary tradition handed down to me by my mother and my grandmother; a tradition that in its simplicity seeks to celebrate and give expression to the intense flavors and aromas of the local produce.

Sheltered under an old Platane tree, L'Arbre a Vins offers a selection of 450 wines from the Rhone and beyond. Every wine can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace, with a cheese or meat plate and a selection of tapas, and there is a permanent selection of wines by the glass. In high season you can also be guided through a wine tasting of local wines ( 10 euros for 8 wines) Having lived in the UK for 10 years, your host Mathieu speaks english and can fully explain the characteristics of every wine
This is THE place to start your exploration of Provence wine when visiting the Vaison-la-Romaine area. Matthieu is friendly and knowledgeable and takes his time explaining the different wine styles and guiding you through a tasting. The place also has juices for kids and snacks that vegetarians and non-vegetarians can enjoy.

This is a beautiful gallery. Not only are the works well displayed and beautiful, but the building itself is incredibly unique. It extends above the road within the archway and ends up on the upper level with a sweet patio and tree. Very picturesque.
