This is a wonderful place to wind-down after work with friends, or on the weekend as an evening get-together. They also regularly hold special events that benefit one charity organization or another, which gives them extra points in my book. Wine selection is very nice, and they have a handful of beers as well. Well worth a look if you like cozy spaces.

We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the lady was in the info center. She gave us great advice on things to see and do in the area. She also let us know that getting a tour of the base would be difficult due to security checks that need to be done- especially for non Americans.

Henry F. Hauser Museum and Gift Shop

For a small museum in a hard to find spot (Same street as Public Library, but drive past Library a little ways and it is on right hand side of street ) is a must see for the history of Sierra Vista. This library is set up for children to touch some objects that us older than 60 would remember. The gift shop has wonderful objects not found in stores and very reasonably priced.
