Going to the cinema is about so much more than watching a film. At Light House we try to create an environment of comfort and sophistication to deliver a unique cinema experience. In Petone, our cinema offers a warm and inviting venue. From our spacious cafe, offering fresh in-house food and a wide selection of fine beer and wine to our secluded upstairs lounge, Light House Petone offers an escape from the everyday. Sit back, relax and unwind.
Our seat was a 2-seater couch. Very comfortable. Fantastic atmostphere. We saw a movie. The food is good and they have a great choice of drinks to choose from.

Come and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as you de-stress through ‘kitty play therapy’. We serve Barista made coffee, cat themed sweets and authentic Japanese food like Okonomiyaki and Sushi! We also have unique merchandise for both humans and cats. Neko Ngeru is Wellington’s first and only Cat Cafe! “Neko” means cat in Japanese and “Ngeru” also means cat in Maori so our name is Cat Cat Cat Cafe!" * Small door charge applies ($12 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and children) because we do not rely on donations. * Only people age 7 and up can enter the cat room. * Some of the cafe cats are available for adoption but we do not do one-day adoption. * Vegan and Gluten free options are available.
