Dear Traveler / visitor/ person looking for something to do, Theatr Gwaun is an Independent Theatre, Cinema, Bar and Cafe in Fishguard, North Pembrokeshire. It's been a place for entertainment since 1885 when it was built as a Temperance Hall, becoming one of the first cinema's in Wales in the early 1920's. We're an intimate venue of only 180 seats and a single Cinema screen, but we're equipped to be able to accommodate the highest level of professional theatre and live music, and our 4K resolution, Dolby surround sound digital cinema system is a match for any screen in the country. Search our website for events. Most of all though, we're a friendly lot and like nothing better than to meet new people for a chat and to show off our venue! So if you're in the area, please call in and we'll give you a tour. Feel free to send me an email about anything you like using the listed email with FAO Paul in the title. Best Wishes, Paul Theatre Manager

Brilliant exhibition and well worth visiting and telling others to visit as well. Superb embroidery done by a large number of people from the local community to celebrate two hundred years since the Last Invasion of the French against the Welsh in 1797. Has an accompanying film which shows how the Tapestry was made.

Myself and my family visited the gate on 23/07 for an evening meal, outside in the beer garden. Four of us had steaks, which all were cooked perfectly(medium rare) with all the trimmings and pepper sauce. (Yummy). One of my nieces had chilli, cheese and chips, which she throughly enjoyed. Some had desserts, but because they were all full up, they took them away so they could eat later, the desserts were lovely too. Overall lovely food, good quality, fresh home cooked food and great value for money.

Rural micro-brewery with brewery tap located on the edge of the beautiful Gwaun valley brewery. The brewery uses water from the well and natural ingredients to produce mainly traditional styles of ale. All the ale is Vegan.
Nigel is a hobby brewer turned professional. He makes a range of beers in his modest facility in the farm. These range from "melyn" a light easy quaffing summer beer to his porter which is a really decent dark
