Top 6 Thermal Spas in London, England

December 23, 2021 Almeta Stockton

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

We booked a spa day at Rosewood London in Holborn and we weren't disappointed. The relaxation lounge is sumptuously designed and relaxing, unlike many other spas that see this as an afterthought at the end of a corridor. The treatment was one of the best massages in London I've had, and the therapist was really skilled and considerate. It was the mix and match treatment with scalp massage, facial and back neck & shoulder massage, I would highly recommend. The aromatherapy oils and all the products were gorgeous and citrusy, very high quality and left skin very smooth and soft. The Rosewood obviously recruit a great team of therapists and have very high treatment standards, which is not the case for many other spas. Areas for improvement would be offering a bar snack service in the spa, and the addition of a pool would be fantastic! I will defnitely return here, it was such a relaxing spa day.

We just felt like spending a few hours relaxing and booked the 3 hour package for GBP18. Steam room, sauna, ice bucket, jacuzzi and warm benches plus a relaxation room. Very clean, modern and well managed. Bring your own thongs, shampoo and conditioner etc. There is liquid soap in the shower but that’s it. Lockers need a pad lock. Bring your own or they will give you one. Very relaxing. There is also a 30 metre indoor pool, large gym, Hamamm plus they do massage. We will definitely be back!
