Dishes have a quite original taste and the style is also pretty asian. Staff is quick and friendly. Only downside: no big choice of fish and seafood, short variety of beverages

We had a dinner here on a cold December night. Being vegetarians, we found the meny catered well for our dietary requirements. The staff were pleasant, but for some reason they just wouldn't give us tap water. I think this is more a Euro thing than a misunderstanding, however we shouldn't have to be charged for water if we opt to drink from the tap.

This small restaurant is just few meters away from the Marktplatz. It's interieur is kept simple, but not cheep. Make your order at the cashier desk, pick your drink from the fridge and have a seat, the food will be delivered soon. The dishes are authentic, but even the courses marked with 3 chillies are far away from as spicy as they are served in Thailand. Tom Yam Gung as well as the green and red Thai-curry were all good.Due to the low prices (starters from ⬠2,80 - 3,50 and main courses from ⬠5,90 - 8,50) you'll find a lot of students there. Attention: the restaurant is just open every day from 11:00 - 21:00 except sunday.

You had better make reservations. The restaurant is small and very popular. The owners are active in day-to-day operations. The menu is short, changes regularly and is highly creative. Everything we tried was above average to excellent. Portion sizes are reasonable, but not large. Service was quick, considering that each dish is individually prepared, rather than waiting on a warming tray. Prices are above average, but in line with the quality. We have tried several of Würzburg's Thai restaurants and find the Mae Dee by far the best.

We love Thai food and the Rainbow Garden was recommended by friends who like Thai cuisine. This is a good Thai restaurant with a much larger dining room than most. The menu is extensive, but there are only about ten sauces that are placed on about ten basic main courses - thus yielding about 100 entrees. Four of us ate there and all were satisfied with the food, service and beverages. The prices were slightly above what we have come to expect, but not disturbingly so. We too recommend the Rainbow Garden.

Visited with my wife who is originally from Würzburg and my in-laws, on their recommendation. We were greeted by the owner, who is a very nice gentleman. He speaks good English too. The chef is a genuine sushi master, who effortlessly creates wonderful fresh sushi at incredible speed. I had a chilli and ginger soup to start, ingredients were fresh and we'll prepared. And then I had a plate of mixed sushi. I have to say that the food was excellent, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and garnished, and of course super tasty. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and clearly in good repair. The food prices are value for money and at lunchtime you can have a all you can eat option. I would happily recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.
