Thai restaurant specializes in typical dishes of the country.
Ate here one night during a recent visit to Lille. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy Thai. The food was excellent along with the service. The starters were cooked perfectly and the main courses (especially the Pad Thai and Thai Red Curry) were well cooked and not too hot. Recommend you book in advance as many people turned away that hadn't booked.

Had a business dinner here last night; very good food and service. The food was fresh and served hot. Our server was friendly and helpful, even though he didn't speak English. The menu, however, was in English so ordering wasn't a problem. Like other restaurants in the area, it's pricey (30 euros for dinner, beer and tes) but worth it.

We were looking for somewhere to eat when we spotted this unimposing Thai restaurant. From the moment we stepped in the door we felt like we were visiting friends! It is not anything special from the street but once in the door it certainly is! It has a charming and calming ambience with very welcoming staff who make you feel at home.We chose from a 46 euros set menu with choices but as we didn't have a clue what we were ordering and there was no english menu, we took the waiters advice and recommendations.Angie had a Prawn Salad (not wildly exciting) and I had a fabulous Tom Yam soup which was huge and nicely presented in an earthenware bowl. The main courses were a Chicken in a green curry sauce and a Duck in a red curry sauce with stick rice, noodles and firied vegetables. The meal was as delicious as it was attractive to look at. Our male waiter was charming and helpful and could speak Thai, French or English! We had pineapple fritters with coconut ice cream for deserts.Drinks were Pineapple Juices for Angie and Singha Thai Beer for me.All for 59 Euros plus tips!I would definitely eat here again if I come back to Lille.PS Beautiful Orchids decorate the dining room along with various Thai artifacts.Oh, orders taken between 10am and 9:30pm. It is shut on Sunday evening and Monday all day.

EN/FRWe went there for lunch in the middle of the week. We were the only customers, so we were served quite quickly. The waitress is nice and accommodating. All three of us ordered the same main course (Pad Thai), except I had the vegetarian version while my friends had the shrimp one.The plates hold a good quantity of food. I did not find tasty enough though. It lacks some spices in the preparation (they do put some red pepper to sprinkle on top).We shared a mango sticky rice for dessert, it was nicely presented and with a very tasty coconut cream but the dessert itself once again was a bit bland. The setting of the restaurant is very nice and maybe I'll give it another chance to try some of their other main courses but will not return for the Pad Thai.Thank you for this comment!
