We went to Kobe on Saturday of last week. It was our first time there. We had a chef named Derek or Derrick not sure of the spelling. This guy put on a great show and the food was excellent. You can request him if you so desire. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a great meal and a lot of fun this is the place to go. We also learned about a "Sake Bomb" . If you go and drink alcohol, you might try one. Once again, this is a great place to spend a fun time having lunch or dinner.
I don't often go to Chinese places but my family wanted to go. They had ordered take out from here and said that it was good. Apparently, dining in and take out are two completely different experiences. The menu is huge, but a bit misleading. Saying the lunch selections come with appetizer, soup and salad. Great, but you don't get to pick them. Our food took forever, then they brought out everyones food except my wifes sushi roll. We all finished eating before she got her food. The waitress put her sleeve into my food and my food and my daughters plate when reaching for glasses to refill drinks. The spicy tuna roll my wife waited forever for....wasn't even palatable.

I was on a lunch date with my sister and wanted her to try sushi, she looked on her Iphone and Bluefin came up with 4 stars, so that is where we decided to go. she let me order since I have been trying shushi places in differant towns, Bluefin has a nice atmosphere, but my sushi was very bland. there was no "YUM" at all, I ordered 2 differant rolls, and both tasted the same. just bland.
Wow! I wasn't too sure about this restaurant at first. We were arriving late for lunch and the place didn't have much of a crowd. Talk about not judging a book by first impression. The lunch special arrived - spicy chicken and California roll bento box style - it was almost overflowing!Other guests arrived. The man next to us ordered a "forget me not" roll. I had tolook several times. It was one of the most impressive rolls I have ever seen in aesthetics. Then I saw several other rolls the chef made, all equally 'wow'I am coming back just to try all of that! This restaurant exceeded my expectations. It was nice to experience another excellent dining choice nearbyI hope this was of help to the next traveler and this review helps you with your next ding choice

Most of the people like sushi which I can't stand. But the food cooked in front of us was fun and the food good.
