Enjoyed our dinner at Makisu! I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki and it was delicious! The sauteed veggies which accompanied the entree were beautifully presented and excellent tasting as well. Other dinners ordered included Chicken Teriyaki, Scallop Crab Cake and the Tempura Small Plates - everyone was very happy. Miso Soup is included with the entrees.

The food and service are excellent.I really should have brought a crew of friends to help me eat the bistro burger -- it is HUGE!Remodeling is almost complete. The remaining projects are putting in a new floor and replacing the chairs. Personally I find the renovation somber rather than tranquil (which is what I think they were going for), but I come for the food, not the ambiance. The fireplace is a lovely addition.plenty of parking

This Asian buffet is great in concept. What makes it stand out is the sheer variety of foods. The dishes are, for the most part, authentic and encompass a wide range of familiar and exotic flavors. The buffet spans nearly the entire length of the dining room and is well laid out. Unlike plain storefront neighborhood eateries, Ginzaâs décor (much of it repurposed from a previous tenant) is especially attractive and comfortable.I came here with a group for lunch. Although nearly everything we tasted was quite good, there were two issues. First, a lack of food labeling. There was nothing to identify any of the sushi items or the tiny cups of condiments, roe, etc. The labeling for many of the hot foods was erroneous or absent. âWalnut Shrimpâ contained zero walnuts. What was labeled âGrilled Calamariâ was not grilled at all and appeared to be octopus. Vegetable tempura was labeled peach something-or-other. Iâm still LOL from a sign which read, âMuscles with Vegetables.â The second issue concerns food temperature. Nearly every âhotâ dish we sampled had already cooled down to room temperature and it was only 11:30 AM. The one dish that came out piping hot was chunks of shell-on lobster in a sauce. Yummy, yes, but it was so difficult and messy to extricate the meat from the shell that I quickly gave up.Due to the labeling issue, I would not recommend Ginza to someone with food allergies or aversions. But during lunchtime, if you focus on the many items that should be served at room temperature or colder, you can have a great meal at a great price. Donât miss the fried dough and the sesame balls filled with sweet bean paste.

Shakou Restaurants feature striking architecture, stylish decor, sumptuous cuisine and high-touch service to create a unique dining experience that's miles ahead of any other, yet close to home. Fresh-daily ingredients and striking visual presentation cre
My husband and I are âregularsâ at Shakou because of the high quality sushi and excellent, friendly service from each and every server. Cocktails are generous and delicious - great saki selections! Appetizers are big enough to share. Love the ahi tartar and sea star! We stick to the sushi rolls, but other dishes look amazing as well. You know a good sushi roll when it is generously filled with very fresh fish and seafood and not made up of mostly rice - that is exactly what you get at Shakou. The Signature rolls are outstanding! Some of our favorites include Niku Niku (steak instead of seafood - really good!), Urban Heat, and Volcano roll. Save room for tasty desserts as well!Thank you for the 5 Star Review and sharing your #ShakouExperience! #ExperienceShakou

Our favorite place for sushi. I enjoy the atmosphere - comfortable and lively, but not so loud that you canât carry a conversation. Food is consistently good but on more than one occasion, when the restaurant is busier, the service has been below average. Servers are always friendly but it seems as though they canât keep up with the traffic. Most recently, we were seated for more than five minutes before our server introduced herself. Drinks took too long to show up and we had to flag her down for another round. Same deal trying to get and then pay the bill. She did the best she could (and with a smile) but poor service has been the rule lately rather than the exception.
