I visited here just after going to the atomic bomb museum. Delicious, uncomplicated and fresh sushi at very affordable rates. My warmest recommendations to this place! It was a bit difficult to find since at first we didnât understand that it is located inside a large mall-like building. It is... Quite a nice looking building across the road on the left hand side coming down from the museum.

Extremely good top-notch Sushi for just half of the usual price for this quality! I recommend the omakase (chefs choice of the day) menu for around 5000 JPY per Person. Very friendly and welcoming family business (don't expect English conversation or menu though).

A kaitenzushi place popular for locals and foreigners alike. The suchi selection is big, with classical versions. The quality/price ratio is good. Friendly and quick service.

Visiting Nagasaki for four days, we asked our hotel for restaurant recommendations. Uotatsu was their top izakaya recommendation. The sashimi was delicious, some of the best we've had in Japan. The food and drink selection was wide. We especially enjoyed the awamori, an Okinawa alcohol. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The location is only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and 5-10 minutes to Dejima wharf. Easy access.

Those kind of places remind a bit of some Edo-period woodblock prints were large rooms with many people a depicted eating and having fun.For lovers of "chawamushi" this seems to be a sort of mecca. As it is not my thing, I can't really comment on that, but the rest was good and my Japanese colleague was very pleased
