Freshly prepared sashimi, sashimi salads, sushi also amazing rolls to get you started. Yes, I like this place because it's that good. Been a patron since this place since it was the Subking! Still owned and operated by the same family and they certainly make everyone feel like family too. Highly recommend

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Burbank. I recommend the cucumber roles. Those are my favorite with green mustard. If you are a seafood lovie, check this place out. Though the area is small, you might have to wait.

For all kinds of sushi, sashimi, teriyaki and a hip, sophisticated setting, this is a great spot in Burbank. Everything was freshly made, beautifully presented. The menu is just pages and pages with even a kiddie bentobox menu. Octopus has a full bar that is very attractive and our favorites were "cardiac" sushi, scallops sushi, philadelphia, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna. This is a full restaurant and not a lunch bar with a sushi plate moving belt. Wonderful, pretty quick at lunch, and sumptuous surroundings.

Things didnât start out great! The front desk hostess didnât seem to have a clue about what she should be doing, disappearing and generally making us feel like we were an imposition for her. Things picked up when we were seated and we had a fantastic server, Lauren L, who was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. She brought us a very cold bottle of wine and a cooler without having to be asked. She wasnât pushy and was happy for us to order a couple of dishes at a time. The food, as always, was great. Hubby and I shared the pork pan fried dumplings, the pepper calamari and the Singapore noodles which we found to be more than enough for they two of us. Great menu options including sushi and California rolls if thatâs more your thing. Definitely give it a go. Wokcano is a chain but we always go to the one in Burbank.

I frequent Gindi quite often - mostly for the lunch specials. The food is always very fresh and tasty. They have an expansive menu, including sushi, and Gindi always has great service. Parking is a challenge as there are many restaurants and office buildings surrounding it.Gindi also has a nice happy hour offering. Dining tip - it tends to get loud during busy times, for a quieter spot, ask to be seated to the left hand side of the restaurant. It's a bit removed and cozier.
