If you want meat this is the place to be. Lots of it as waiters walk around and carve the food onto your plate. Also lobster tails and shrimp which we sampled and were very good. Giant salad bar is a beautiful array of items. But not everything tasted as good as it looked. Asparagus spears were very underdone. Kale and sweet potato salad had very hard cubes of sweet potato (also very undercooked). Too many choices to describe! Desserts were all a variation of pudding - a chocolate mousse, a mousse like chocolate caramel cake and a sampling of 3 flavors of mousse! All were good but not exceptional. Service was good. A good place if you want to eat a big pile of meat. Hi Lisa, thanks for your feedback! I'll bring your comments to our manager's attention. We appreciate your business.

Wednesday night we had the pleasure of dining at Ruthâs Chris Steak House in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The service, presentation and ambience are top notch. This is a wonderful spot for an intimate dinner for two, a celebration or a full blown party. Ruthâs Chris Ft. Lauderdale is THE spot!We started the evening with a delightful bottle of 2014 Grgich Hills Estate Grown Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For appetizers I started out with the Sizzling Blue Crab Cakes, two jumbo lump crab cakes with sizzling lemon butter. Almost all lump meat with just the slightest amount of backfin meat and breadcrumbs to hold them together, so very melt in your mouth tasty! Marci had the Crab Stack, (of course it was gluten-free!), colossal lump blue crab, avocado, mango and cucumber. It was served with a spicy remoulade and was amazing!Next up, the salads. I had the original, Ruthâs Chop Salad; it was, to turn a phrase, classic. Marci had one of seasonal Chefâs Features; Mandarin & Prosciutto Salad, arugula, spinach, pickled red onions, dried cherries, goat cheese crumbles, creamy bacon dressing (with big chunks of bacon). Donât tell Ruth, I liked Marciâs better! For our dinner, Marci had the 8 oz Petite Filet with the six large shrimp accompaniment. I had the 22 oz bone-in Prime cut Cowboy Ribeye with 3 sea scallops accompaniment. We like our steaks medium rare plus, and they were dead on. NOT your average steak house, these guys can cook! These were accompanied by Roasted Brussel Sprouts with bacon & honey butter, and pan roasted Cremini Mushrooms with fresh thyme. The dinner was delicious and prepared to perfection..As a finale to this delightful meal, Marci, of course, had the Crème Brulee; classic vanilla custard with caramelized sugar & fresh berries and gluten-free! Ever the chocoholic, I had the chocolate duo, molten chocolate lava cake, AND chocolate mousse. The desserts were superb! I must reiterate. Ruthâs Chris Steak House in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is a MUST for a special occasion of any type, even if that occasion is just a Wednesday dinner with a friend or the love of your life..Last but not least, a giant thank you to:Natalie Kizer from Uproar PR for setting up this lovely evening.Jeremy Carlisle, GM, for his terrific hospitality.Megan, our server, for her patience & charm without whom this evening would not have been the same.

I ate here for my birthday weekend Aug 4 in the Aventura Mall. I selected from the Miami Spice menu and had fabulous service from both Pauls, my waiter and the Manager. But it seems that dogs have more rights to come into restaurants than I have the right to complain about not wanting to see another guests walk in with a dog in her arms, stand over a table and listen to his or her barking. Because restaurants are so scared of "service dogs rights" over me, then I will always give poor reviews for restaurants who have given all the rights to dogs.Paul and Paul get 5 stars. But not addressing dogs in restaurants will always get 2, if not 1 star from me.

Texas de Brazil, is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
Another mini family reunion with cousins. This time we met at Sawgrass mall to have dinner. We decided to have dinner at Texas de Brazil. This is a different kind of dining. You first have some salad and then when you are ready for the meat, you turn your chip around and the waiters start serving you meat. It just keeps coming and coming. Itâs a meat lovers heaven.
